100 DAYS PROGRESS REPORT: In the last 22 days we could provide 8218 broad band connections whereas 2956 bb connections were closed with an net addition of 5262 bb connections. Whereas there has been poor progress on the landline front where we lost 12640 connections and 6922 connections only were provided with a net loss of 5718 land line connections. Thus there is surrender of about 260 connections per day. Now we have to think that if the same pace is continued, one can easily calculate the downfall when all the connections will be wiped out. The revenue services of IN has been very encouraging which could generate 70 lakh in July and August 2009. Even value added service like games on demand has generated revenue of 3.2 lakh in these two months. This report is displayed to bring out the clear picture of the company in front of all the members so that everybody understands the responsibility of sensible working towards the growth. If we start providing the landline and BB connections within four days of booking (in feasible areas) and try to wipe out the pending waiting list, would be one of the solutions for the controlling the negative growth. We appeal to send suggestions……
FURNISHING OF STS ACR: Inspite of the time lines decided by the corporate office to send a special messenger along with ACR for the Adhoc promotions of STS, still the ACR’s are not send. MERGER OF CC WING: In a significant development today the cable construction wing will be merged with the concerned area DGM’s. In a meeting today held with leaders of association with the PGM and GM (D), the decision was taken. This was a long pending demand of our association to streamline the work distribution. The PGM also briefed the association leaders about the developments taking place in the circle and SSA on re organization and re orientation of staff to be deployed in marketing, business development and enterprise business. As per the corporate office guidelines, a team for EB will be formed in the SSA in coming days.

for giving officiating promotions. The SDE’s who have completed six
years of regular service are eligible for giving the options for the
vacant DE’s post. We wonder, why the vacancy position was not
declared initially when the options were called. All those willing
should give options within 3 days.
