SNEA PUNE STRONGLY CONDEMNS THE ATTACK ON DE BHANDARA: All the SNEA, Pune comrades strongly condemns the assault on the Divisional Engineer, Bhandara, who was badly manhandled by the son’s of the telephone operator working in Bhandara. We extend the full support for the Bhandara comrades who are sitting on the dharna from last three days, for the legitimate and justified demands to take strong action against such criminals to maintain the dignity and self respect of the executives. OFFICIAL LAUNCHING OF PROJECT UDDAN: The Hon. Shri. V. K. Mahendra, PGMT, Pune will officially launch the project Uddan today at 1500 hrs at the conference hall, New admin Bldg, Satara road, Pune. All the DGM’s and GM are the invitees for the function.
PENSION CONTRIBUTION: The Pension contribution payable w.e.f 1.1.96 in respect of a Govt. servant during the period of foreign service shall be based on the maximum of the pay under Rule 9(21)(a)(i). On implementation of VIth CPC report w.e.f 1.1.2006, Govt revised the order and the contribution shall be based on the existing basic pay of the post held by the Govt. servant. <<Order>> The same has to be implemented in respect of pension contribution for the employees absorbed in BSNL from DoT also.
BSNL LOOSES HALF OF THE MARKET SHARE: The Union Telecom Minister A. Raja, in a written reply to Lok Sabha, has stated that BSNL has lost more than half of the market share in last three years due to fierce competition and not due to managerial reasons. Click for the full news>>>
BSNL AIMS TO DOUBLE REVENUES FROM VAS: In what will be amongst the largest contracts for Value Added Services, state-owned BSNL has invited bids from companies to provide interactive non-voice services to its 50 million mobile users using the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) technological platform.
