MAHA KRISHI PLAN EXTENDED TILL 31ST MARCH: After the consistent pressure from the customers and Association, finally the GM (mobile) nodal has issued the instruction to extend the Maha Krishi Plan till 31st March 2011. Click for letter>>>
PLANNED EFFORTS OF MOBILE MANAGEMENT TO SHOW THE MAHA KRUSHI PLAN IN LOSS: The mobile management has made well planned efforts to show that the “Maha Krishi Plan” is loss making. It is seen that all the MKS customers have been give a discount of 50% on FMC to all the MKS customers, thus making a huge loss of approx 0.25 crores to the BSNL kitty, for which no approvals were taken. Whereas the mobile unit which is adamant on activating 40,000 customers who have applied for the MKS plan before 17th of March 2011, though all the SSA heads have communicated in writing to mobile wing. This has exposed the racket of the mobile management to discard the most revenue earning plan, thereby vindicating our stand that, the senior officers in mobile management has strong tie up with the private operators, hence they are making all the untiring efforts to close the MKS plan. UNTIMELY CLOSURE OF MAHA KRISHI PLAN, SNEA REGISTERS PROTEST: CS SNEA(I) MH Circle after making deep study and complying all reports/facts and figures circulated by MH Circle management and concerned officers involved in launching/marketing the most popular postpaid CUG plan ever introduced by any of the circle appealed CGMT MH Circle Hon’ble Shri Aloke Kaul to withheld the orders for closure of Maha krishi plan because of which lot of complications has been created in the field and suggested some modifications in the original postpaid plan, Association also pointed finger towards suspected involvement of private operators who want to create adverse publicity for BSNL to further their commercial interests. Whereas, EB, Pune took untiring efforts to get this plan sanctioned, approved and popularize, whereas the mobile management, in minutes withdraw the plan from the portal, keeping all the nodal officers and 25000 customers helpless. All those customers who applied for the post paid connections before the issue of the closing orders is still not created by mobile management at the backend. Just to promote their hidden agenda of supporting the private operators, the mess has been silently created to destroy the image of BSNL with the Dept of Agriculture and the customers, a complete non- cooperation is seen from the mobile management. SNEA (I) will not tolerate such approach and vows to expose all such corrupt nexus.
FINALLY THE OFFTG. SDE’S ORDERS REVISED BY PUNE SSA: The association strongly pleaded to post the officiating SDE’s on as it is where it is basis, as done by the circle office, but adamantly the lower 5 SDE’s were transferred to rural considering them as junior most and applied the policy of transfer to them. We strongly protested that the criteria, is itself incorrect and the SDE’s form the longest stay should be transferred, as per the corporate office transfer policy guidelines. DHARNA PROGRAM CALLED OFF: Following the assurance given by the Chairman of the Committee and GM (SR) that the committee will consider all possible options to resolve the issue of pay scales of JTOs/SDEs and equivalent cadres in a satisfactory manner and not restrict resolution of the issue merely on the basis of E1+ 5 increments which according to this Association is nothing but demotion of the cadre, programme of Dharna on 4th March, 11 stands deferred. The Association will vigorously pursue to get legitimate pay scale for JTOs/SDEs and protect the dignity of the cadre of JTO. Maintain total organizational preparedness to respond to any challenge at a very short notice.
